Liverpool will be looking to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League when they take on Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena this evening.

Jurgen Klopp has made a couple of changes from the side that beat Burnley at the weekend with Jordan Henderson and James Milner being recalled to join Georginio Wijnaldum in midfield. Fabinho is unfortunate to drop out as he’s been excellent recently while Adam Lallana is also dropped to the bench despite his superb performance against Burnley.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is passed fit to start at right-back after recovering from a minor back issue that forced him off during Liverpool’s win on Sunday while Joel Matip keeps his place alongside Virgil van Dijk with Dejan Lovren having to make-do with a place on the bench.

Roberto Firmino leads the line up front for Liverpool with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in support so Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri must make-do with places on the bench.

As for Bayern, they line-up with Robert Lewandowski leading the line up front with James Rodriguez, Serge Gnabry and Frank Ribery offering support while David Alaba starts at left-back after recovering from injury.
