[Video Goals] Chelsea 3-0 Brighton: Hazard scores stunner as Blues close on top 4

Eden Hazard scored a wonderful goal as Chelsea moved level on points with fourth-placed Arsenal with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge this evening.

The Blues started well and eventually broke the deadlock shortly before half-time when Olivier Giroud flicked home from close range to make it 1-0 in the 38th minute following some excellent work from Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Chelsea doubled their lead in the 60th minute when Hazard – who was recalled to the starting eleven after being rested for the win over Cardiff – worked himself some space on the edge of the area before curling home a wonderful effort for 2-0.

Just minutes later and Chelsea sealed the three points with Ruben Loftus-Cheek justifying his selection with a superb as the England international youngster found the top corner from 20 yards to make it 3-0 to the hosts.

Chelsea eased to victory which now sees them climb above Manchester United in to fifth position in the Premier League table and level on points with fourth-placed Arsenal – who have a game in hand.
