[Teams] Cardiff City vs Liverpool: Confirmed line-ups

Liverpool will be looking to reclaim top spot with a win over Cardiff at the Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp starts with Joel Matip alongside Virgil van Dijk in the middle of the Liverpool back four while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson once again occupy the full-back areas with Alisson in goal.

Naby Keita lines-up in the midfield along with Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum meaning Fabinho and James Milner have to make-do with places among the substitutes this afternoon.

Liverpool have recalled Roberto Firmino up front after he was named on the bench for the 4-1 victory over Porto in the Champions League last week so Divock Origi makes way. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane keep their places in attack with Xherdan Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge on the bench.

As for Cardiff, they go with Junior Hoilett in attack along with Oumar Niasse while Aron Gunnarsson keeps his place in midfield alongside Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Victor Camarasa.
