Man Utd agree personal terms with 24y/o star as Solskjaer closes in on 3rd signing

Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Bruno Fernandes and are now trying to thrash out a fee with Sporting Lisbon, according to reports in Italy via the Express.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is working hard strengthening his squad this summer following a disappointing campaign and United have already signed winger Daniel James and right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
However, Solskjaer is still on the look out for further reinforcements and a creative midfielder seems to be on the agenda amid speculation linking Paul Pogba with a move away from Old Trafford this summer.
Fernandes has been touted as a prime target in recent weeks and the Express are quoting Gazetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira as claiming that United have now agreed personal terms with the 24-year-old.
Schira claims Man Utd found an agreement following talks with Fernandes’ agent on Monday and they are now negotiating with Sporting Lisbon to get a deal wrapped-up for the attacking midfielder.

The Italian journalist is quoted by the paper as saying on Twitter:
“New contacts today between #ManchesterUnited and #BrunoFernandes’s agent,”
“#RedDevils have an agreement with them and now want to finalise the deal with #Sporting.”
The Express claims United have already seen an opening £31m offer rejected with Sporting demanding at least £54m so it remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to reach an agreement.
However, the paper says United are in pole position after Tottenham and Liverpool pulled out of the race to sign Fernandes so that should help the Manchester giants during negotiations with Sporting.

Fernandes has forged a reputation as being one of the most productive players in Europe after contributing a staggering 32 goals and 18 assists in 53 games last season so he’d be an exciting addition if United can make him their third summer signing.
