Liverpool welcome Arsenal to Anfield tonight in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Jurgen Klopp has rested a number of key players with Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino among those given a breather.

Caoimhin Kelleher starts in goal for Liverpool while youngsters Neco Williams and Sepp van den Berg make their full debuts for the club. Rhian Brewster also gets a chance to impress along with Joe Gomez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita.

Highly rated teenager Harvey Elliot also starts in the Liverpool attack while Divock Origi leads the line up front with James Milner starting at left-back. The Reds have a very inexperienced bench full of youth prospects so there won’t be much experience to call upon if needed.

Arsenal have also made wholesale changes to their line-up and Mesut Ozil makes his first start since September. The German playmaker is joined in the line-up by Bukayo Saka, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Gabriel Martinelli.

Hector Bellerin captains the Gunners and starts in defence alongside Rob Holding, Shkodran Mustafi and Sead Kolasinac while Lucas Torreira is joined by Joe Willock in midfield. Emi Martinez replaces Bernd Leno in goal.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:
