Chelsea will look to bounce back from their Carabao Cup exit when they take on Watford at Vicarage Road this evening.

Frank Lampard has made some changes from the side that lost to Manchester United on Wednesday night with Kepa returning in goal after being rested in midweek. Cesar Azpilicueta starts at right-back with Reece James on the bench while Emerson Palmeiri comes in left-back after returning to full fitness. Marcos Alonso drops to the bench.

Fikayo Tomori is recalled to start alongside Kurt Zouma with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen still on the sidelines. Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic start in midfield with N’Golo Kante still out with a groin injury.

Tammy Abraham leads the line up front with Michy Batshuayi making way despite scoring in midweek while Mason Mount gets another chance to impress following an excellent start to the season.

Willian and Christian Pulisic support the attack so the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Olivier Giroud have to settle for places among the substitutes. There is no place for Pedro in the matchday squad.
