Chelsea are in Spain ahead of their crucial Champions League clash with Valencia but they’ve made the trip without four senior squad players.

Ross Barkley once again misses out as the England international midfielder is still working his way back to full fitness having missed out in recent weeks with a niggling ankle injury.

Antonio Rudiger has been back in full training for the past two weeks but the centre-back is still lacking match fitness so he’s been left back in London to continue his recovery at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.

Callum Hudsn-Odoi missed the defeat to Manchester City at the weekend with a knock and the winger hasn’t recovered in time to make the trip to Spain so he’ll also miss the Valencia match tomorrow night.

Marcos Alonso hasn’t been included in the travelling squad either so it looks like Emerson Palmeiri will continue at left-back on Wednesday evening but Frank Lampard has no other fresh injury concerns to worry about.

Chelsea head into tomorrow’s game sitting level on seven points with Ajax and Valencia so it’s all to play for with two games remaining. A win for Chelsea in Spain would book their place in the last-16 of the Champions League due to their superior head-to-head record against the other two teams but a win for Valencia would also put them into the knockout stages.

Here is the travelling squad as confirmed on Chelseafc.com:

Kepa Arrizabalaga
Andreas Christensen
Jorginho
N’Golo Kante
Tammy Abraham
Willian
Pedro
Willy Caballero
Kurt Zouma
Mateo Kovacic
Olivier Giroud
Mason Mount
Christian Pulisic
Michy Batshuayi
Reece James
Cesar Azpilicueta
Fikayo Tomori
Jamie Cumming
Emerson Palmieri
