[Teams] Standard Liege vs Arsenal: Confirmed line-ups for Europa League clash

Arsenal will look to secure top spot in their Europa League group with a win over Standard Liege this evening [5.55pm kick-off]. 

Freddie Ljungberg has named a mixed side as Sokratis and David Luiz start in what looks like a back three alongside Greek youngster Kostas Mavropanos. Ainsley Maitland-Niles starts on the right while it appears Bukayo Saka may line-up in the left wing-back position.


Joe Willock and Matteo Guendouzi start in midfield with Lucas Torreira rested and Granit Xhaka missing out due to concussion. Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe get starts in the Arsenal attack with Nicolas Pepe missing out with a knee problem.

Alexandre Lacazette is recalled up front after not featuring on Monday night while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Gabriel Martinelli drop to the bench. Calum Chambers is also named among the substitutes along with youngsters Zach Medley, Tyreece John-Jules and James Olayinka.
