Europa League betting: Arsenal and Tottenham both backed to win

Europa League football returns this week following a three-week hiatus due to the international break. There are several interesting ties to look forward to later this week so here are our betting tips for the games….

Molde vs Arsenal

Arsenal are struggling in the Premier League as they currently sit in the bottom half of the table having won just 4 of their 9 games so far and were held to a 0-0 draw by Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon. However, they are having no such trouble in Europe as the Gunners are well on course to qualifying for the knockout stages with games to spare.

Mikel Arteta’s team have a faultless record so far having won all three of their Europa League matches this season. Arsenal sit top of Group B – three points ahead of Molde and six clear of Rapid Vienna – after beating their nearest rivals 4-1 at the Emirates earlier this month. Therefore, victory in Norway on Thursday evening would book Arsenal’s place in the knockouts if Vienna don’t win against Dundalk.

The Gunners are 7/10 favourites with casinosnz to win the game and that looks like a decent bet. For even better value, back Arsenal to beat Molde 3-1 at odds of 11/1. Alexandre Lacazette should be recalled and he’s 7/2 to be first scorer on Thursday.

Tottenham vs Ludogorets

While Arsenal are struggling domestically, the same cannot be said of their north London rivals as Tottenham have enjoyed an excellent start to the new season. Jose Mourinho’s side currently sit top of the Premier League table – level on points with Liverpool – after beating Manchester City 2-0 at the weekend so they’ll be in confident mood heading into this game.

Spurs are also top of their Europa League group but only on goal difference as they sit level with Antwerp and LASK on six points from their opening three games. Victory over Ludogorets – who are yet to pick up a point – will put Tottenham in a good position to secure their place in the next phase.

Tottenham won the game 3-1 in Bulgaria and they should have no problems beating Ludogorets on home soil. You could visit the best high roller casino and put all your money on Spurs to win as they are almost certain to collect all three points on Thursday. The bookies agree as Tottenham are huge 1/16 odds-on favourites to win this game. Obviously we need to find more value and we like the look of Gareth Bale to score first in a 4-0 win at odds of 18/1.

It promises to be another enthralling week of European football and we think both Arsenal and Tottenham will ease to victories to put them on-course for the knockout stages of the competition.
