Kenny Dalglish Gets Two Year Deal & Substantial Transfer Funds

By on March 13, 2011

At last!  Kenny Dalglish has been endorsed by owners the Fenway Group under John W Henry by being given a permanent two-year contract, according to various reports today.

Good news all around as the issue was beginning to fester around the club as each day and result went by. The club’s new owners are now also likely to release substantial funds in the Summer for the addition of new players to bolster the midfield and flanks. Congrats and well done Kenny!

We don’t need any of those mentioned. They are already going over. What we need are the NEXT wonders as it is going to take a couple of years ( at the most optimistic) to be back challenging really at the top. It is new talent that will be then coming up to 24/25 that will be our mainstay.

Chambers, your spot on. That’s why I’m a bit frustrated that they have only given him a two year deal. We need a five year plan with a five manager. If we win anything before the fifth year it’s a bonus. Buy the best young players and tie them down to five year deals.
