Uefa have confirmed that Arsenal pair Arsene Wenger and Samir Nasri have both been suspended for 1 UEFA club competition match after their charges of improper conduct following the 3-1 defeat to Barcelona earlier this month.

The ban’s will take immediate effect meaning both will be missing for the next Champions League game Arsenal are involved in, which as we should finish 2nd or 3rd in the league will most likely to be our first group game next season. Arsene Wenger has also been fined €10,000. Both Wenger and Nasri have 3 days to appeal the decision, which will probably be pointless as the blokes at UEFA are unlikely to change their mind.

It gets ridiculous when certain decisions are taken, if Wenger and Nasri are banned for 1 match each then the ref should be jailed for 12 yrs and never allowed to officiate even a game of kindergartens, its such a shame.

It really ashame if the referee has no charge. I do wounder whether they saw the game. They promote corruption among referees in officiating games. Let them give reasons why that referee is not touchable.
