Blackpool vs Arsenal: Preview, Injury News & Predicted Line-up

Arsenal travel to Bloomfield Road this weekend to take on a Blackpool side who will be desperate for 3 points. Both teams play extremely attacking football, and this is going to be a tough test for each team – defensively.

Injury News:

Theo and Song, it is speculated, have picked up knocks and are likely to miss out. Denilson, may or may not be back.

Probable line up :

In case the speculation about Theo/Song is rubbish :

And in case there is some truth in it…

Subs: Lehmann, Eboue, Gibbs, Ramsey, Denilson/DiabyTR7, Nikko, Chamakh.

Final Thoughts:

I am not going to comment on the match, because whenever I say it is crucial, the team screws up.

Denilson must never play for Arsenal again. If he plays tomorrow – the result will be crap regardless of how the rest of the team are playing – it will be like starting the match with only 10 men!

Would love to see Ramsey and Wilshere play as the holding mids. I think that although neither is a true tackling force, they both are willing to work hard for each other and for the team and will provide attacking impetus from deep which will allow Cesc to stay near Robin when attacking and this combination of Cesc higher up and creative players like Jack and Ramsey a little deeper will work much better as we’ll be on the front foot most of the game. Ramsey>Diaby>>>>>>Denilson
