Guardiola insists City are class regardless of treble!

Even if Manchester City fails to complete their treble dream, Pep Guardiola thinks his legacy is “exceptional already” in the eyes of those with City tickets.

Even if Manchester City fails to complete their treble dream, Pep Guardiola thinks his legacy is “exceptional already” in the eyes of those with Manchester City tickets.

Nothing separated Real Madrid and Man City after the first leg of the Champions League semifinal between goals from Vinicius Junior and Kevin De Bruyne at the Bernabeu. But the scintillating display of pure footballing skills from the team in their 4-0 win clearly indicates the soon-to-be-crowned Premier League winners’ capabilities.

With one victory needed to win the Premier League title for the sixth time in six years and an upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester United at Wembley, City’s season may conclude in history.

But before that, Guardiola’s team hosts Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League semifinal. Regardless of what transpires in the season’s remaining weeks, the City manager seems unconcerned with how he will be remembered.

Before going up against Real, he declared, “My legacy is exceptional already. “I’ve already spent a lot of time here.

“We are not foolish; we understand the significance of the semifinal. Since we are all together here, it might be one of the most significant games. We can’t dispute that. For various reasons, including the opponent and the competition.

“I told the guys to seize the moment and enjoy it, for all our fans with Manchester City tickets; we are fortunate to be here, I told them. We own the power; it is up to us. To win one game and go to the championship, all we need to do is be ourselves.

Despite being in their most excellent form of the year with 11 straight Premier League victories bringing joy to the fans with Man City tickets, Kevin De Bruyne’s equaliser left the game tied at 1-1, and the comeback leg that saw Madrid thrashed 4-0 at the Etihad gives hope that this could be the year when City become the winners of Europe.

“We can show up at the right time, but you must do well. It’s not just a wish or a dream,” he continued. “All they need to do is what they have been doing for a long time, particularly throughout this season. To go to the final, we must perform better than at the Bernabeu.

“I hope the side that deserves to win wins. We have to work hard, and I must instil my athletes with this focus in their minds and hearts. To defeat Real Madrid, they must put on a fantastic performance.

After losing seven times in the Champions League semifinals throughout his career, Guardiola has been accused of “over-thinking” significant games. Still, he claims he will keep things simple this time.

The only thing he asked of his players was for them to be themselves. “There are many things you cannot control,” he added.

“I am unable to disclose my strategies here. Don’t worry, guys, it’s nothing exceptional, and I’m not worrying too much about Wednesday. Everything is the same as what we have already done.

De Bruyne did not participate in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Everton. Still, in good news for everyone with Manchester City tickets,  Guardiola insisted that he is well and training typically. Only Nathan Ake will be absent for City because of a hamstring problem.

Walker “hurt”

Kyle Walker of Man City acknowledges having self-doubt after Guardiola implied he couldn’t play in the team’s new style.

Walker started just four of the 11 games during nearly two months, beginning with City’s 4-1 victory at Bournemouth on February 25. Guardiola preferred John Stones in a hybrid full-back role.

“Was it painful? Of course, it did, Walker responded. “I can’t pretend it didn’t hurt,” you say.

The 32-year-old sat on the sidelines for City’s Champions League quarterfinal meetings against Bayern Munich and the Premier League victory over Liverpool at the Etihad. “You start to doubt yourself,” he continued.

Walker then returned to the starting lineup for City’s crucial 4-1 win over Arsenal at the Etihad, which turned the tide of the title battle in their favour.

Since then, he has started all but one of City’s five games, and last Tuesday, in the first leg of City’s Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid, he was trusted to watch over Vinicius Junior.

Walker said: “You don’t always agree with certain football beliefs, but what he has done for me and Man City in the last six years has been incredible.

“He is my superior, and I am a captain. I had to watch out that the squad didn’t see my displeasure.

I had to respond professionally. I needed to prove him wrong by going back to my strengths and what he bought me for in the first place. I’ve taken that action.

Transfer Watch

Bernardo Silva, a midfielder for Manchester City, is reportedly considering moving to PSG during the upcoming transfer window, according to L’Equipe.

According to the report, Silva wants to leave Manchester City for greener pastures and is PSG’s top target for the summer.

If Kim Min-Jae were to depart Napoli, his agent Vincenzo Morabito claims that the highly-regarded South Korean centre-back will likely sign with Manchester City (via Team Talk).

Min-Jae, who has helped Napoli win their third Serie A championship this year, is being pursued by Manchester United, Chelsea, and Manchester City.

According to the Mirror, Kyle Walker, a favoured player among fans with Manchester City tickets, is willing to extend his current deal with the team, which runs out in 2024, rather than departing in the summer.

Walker, who started his football career at Sheffield United, reportedly fantasises about returning there.

According to Fabrizio Romano, lkay Gundogan, a midfielder for Man City, has yet to decide on his future; the German international will decide after the season is over because he is now focused on leading the Sky Blues to a treble.

Declan Rice, the captain and midfielder for West Ham, will be the target of a bid from Manchester City, claims Football Insider.

After discovering that Real Madrid were the front-runners to recruit Jude Bellingham, Manchester City’s attention was diverted to Declan Rice.

According to 90min, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes defender Joao Cancelo would fit their current style of play and is interested in signing him.

The two previously collaborated while at City when the Arsenal manager served as Pep Guardiola’s assistant. Cancelo’s future at City is uncertain, and he might leave the reigning Premier League champions in the summer.

The 28-year-old left City in January after losing Pep Guardiola’s favour at his parent club, and he signed a loan deal with Bayern Munich for the remainder of the season.

He is a regular starter for Thomas Tuchel’s Bundesliga powerhouses at the Allianz Arena, where they have a £61 million option to buy him. They want to keep him there, and Real Madrid and Barcelona are also considering a transfer.

According to a Football Insider source, Manchester City have focused on Chelsea player Mateo Kovacic and wants to make a full-court press for the Croatian midfielder.

Jude Bellingham was the main midfield target for the Cityzens this summer, but he has a personal agreement to join Real Madrid.

With the club fast approaching a potential historic treble, Manchester City tickets are quietly becoming the talk of the town. Purchasing your tickets off the official site might not be your most viable option. Reliable third-party sellers can help you source authentic Manchester City tickets.
