Arsene Wenger is set to take advantage of unsettled Bernabeu striker Karim Benzema. The French forward has been overlooked by Jose Mourinho in recent high profile games and now looks set for move away from the club this summer.
The 23-year old cost Real Madrid £35million back in 2009 and has netted 23 goals in 43 appearances since his arrival. But the Spanish giants would like to recoup as much of this transfer fee as possible and are holding out for the full £35million reports the Metro.
But with Wenger’s current transfer policy it is unlikely the Arsenal boss will part with so much cash, despite being a keen admirer of the forward. Arsene is believed to be willing to pay up to £20million for the striker, and it’s thought Arsenal will sell unsettled Bendtner to make room for Benzema.

hahah this is a funny but a little extreme, half these players are youth team. all we really need to get rid of is Almunia, Flappyhandski, Eboue, Djurou, Eboue, Diaby Rosicky and Bendtner. and bring in YES Benzema, a new GK, CB and Winger to cover Walcott. remember its only Chamakh and Squillaci first season give them at least another.
