Tielemans and Mainoo start: Predicted Manchester United XI vs AS Roma

Manchester United take on AS Roma on matchday four of the league phase of the UEFA Champions League at Old Trafford tomorrow at 20:00 UK time, hoping to get back to winning ways after going nine matches without victory in all competitions.
The Red Devils won their last European Cup outing at Old Trafford as they beat Sabah 4-0 and haven’t won since, but as they look to capitalise on their home advantage versus Roma, here is how they could line-up against the Italians.
Goalkeeper – Senne Lammens is set to keep his place in between the sticks for the home side.
Defenders – Leny Yoro and Diogo Dalot have been playing as the right and left backs, lately, with Luke Shaw injured. The duo are expected to continue at full back once again, whereas Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez could also partner with one another in the heart of the backline to round off an unchanged defence for Man United.

Midfielders – Manchester United’s midfield against Chelsea in the Premier League at the weekend lacked any sort of physicality or control, and their lack of cohesion was fully exploited by Morgan Rogers. Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba could drop out, as a result, and £35 million summer signing Youri Tielemans could return in the engine room alongside Kobbie Mainoo.
Bruno Fernandes, meanwhile, could continue to feature at number 10. Amad Diallo was wasteful versus Chelsea in the last game but might be entrusted on the right wing again, as could Matheus Cunha, who had a goal ruled out in the first half of the previous fixture.
Forward – Bryan Mbeumo is expected to retain his place as the solitary striker for United with Benjamin Sesko ruled out until next year.
Here is a look at how the Red Devils are expected to look on paper.
