Liverpool lost to Fenerbahce in their midweek Champions League game in Istanbul, and are now two matches without a win having also been beaten by Arsenal in the Premier League last Sunday. They will, however, look to get all three points before heading away on international break.

For a second time in a matter of days, Andoni Iraola’s side is on the road, this time on matchday 10 of the Premier League to take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday, November 8th, at 14:00 local time.

Here is a look at the Reds’ potential line-up as they bid to get back to winning ways.

Goalkeeper – Alisson Becker is expected to retain his place in goal for the visitors.

Defenders – Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas were employed as the full backs in the loss to Fenerbahce, but Andoni Iraola might revert to his preferred options in Ronald Araujo and Milos Kerkez on the right and left, respectively.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Jacquet and Virgil van Dijk are likely to continue next to each other in the centre of defence.

Wirtz and Gakpo return, Isak to lead the line

Midfielders – Trey Nyoni bagged his first Champions League goal for Liverpool midweek, but could drop to the bench as Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are likely to be employed in a double pivot. The Hungarian dropping into a deeper role means Florian Wirtz is likely to return to the playing eleven to feature as the attacking midfielder.

Cody Gakpo may also be back in the side, replacing Victor Munoz in the process, whereas Bradley Barcola, who played as the striker in Istanbul, could revert to the left wing.

Forward – Alexander Isak started on the bench in the European Cup outing midweek but bagged a goal having come on in the second half. The Swede may be back in the starting eleven this time against Crystal Palace, ahead of Lewis Koumas.

Here is a look at Liverpool’s possible eleven on paper.
