CONFIRMED: Chelsea Submit Bid For South American Star
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed Chelsea have made a major offer for star midfielder Javier Pastore. Zamparini has confirmed that Chelsea have made a bid for the 21-year old, but still falls short of their valuation, he said:
“Chelsea was a club that we had a major offer from.
“But it did not reach the minimum figure that we set for a player of his quality.
“If someone wants to buy Pastore, the price is 50m (£44m).
“There are five or six clubs also interested, including Manchester City and big clubs from Spain and Italy but so far there has been nothing from them.”
The talented midfielder was brought for a fee around £8million back in 2009 from Argentine outfit Huracán, but after another impressive season in Serie A his value has rocketed to over £40million.

Pastore is the right kind of player at the wrong price. Chelsea needs his sort of creativity, but a player like Modric would provide the same for half the price. It would be better to spend the big money on Neymar. His overall impact on Chelsea will be worth it.
CHELSEA JUST NEED 4 PLAYERS:
NEYMAR for Anelka or Malouda (Neymar is a creative, tricky, left or right striker)
MODRIC for Essien or Benayoun (Modric is a creative, playmaking midfielder)
VAN DE WIEL for Bosingwa or Ferreira (Van de Wiel is a tricky right wingback)
SUBOTIC phased in slowly for Terry (Subotic is a 6ft3 goal scoring defender)

Pastore is a good player but his price tag is not worth of money they are demanding for him, I think 25m-28million is fair price tag for the Guy. Chelsea should forgot him and Break Bank to bring wesley Sneijder to stamford Bridge and he will bring out the best in Torres and chelsea players………..Roman Abramovich” We love you” …..Da silva…

The price of Pastore is too high. Better go and look for Modric oR Wesley Sneidjer for midfield. Neymar nd Lukaku for winger.

The two players i want 2 see on blue are Sneidjer and Neymar forget pastore or modric these are small clubs depending on money from Chelsea to buy new player. Man city should go for them they have money to spend for now.
