Arsenal & Tottenham Battle For £15m Goal-Scoring Machine

By on June 3, 2011

Real Madrid star Gonzalo Higuaín is wanted by both Tottenham and Arsenal. The Daily Mail reports that Madrid are prepared to listen to offers for the former River Plate man who’s services are no longer required at the Bernabeu.

The Argentine was bought for around £10million back in 2007 and has scored an impressive 69 goals in just over 125 appearances for Madrid.

Unfortunately this season was blighted with injuries and only managed 17 appearances for Madrid but still managed to net 10 goals. Madrid is prepared to do business around £15million for Higuaín with both Arsenal and Spurs looking capture the 23-year old.

Mourinho says Higuain is ‘non- transferable’ so I’ll believe it when I see it!!!!

Benzema is the same according to Jose, Samba is considering staying at Blackburn, Parker costs the wrong side of £10mil and news on Cahill has gone quiet. But we have been linked with some outstanding 15 year olds and Ricardo Alvarez!! So this summer could be all about Peter Odemwingie – yay!!!

And when everyone is injured by November, the story will read the same as last season
