Real Madrid Confirm Cesc Fabregas Is No.1 Transfer Target

By on June 5, 2011

The Sun reports that Madrid have entered the race to sign Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas. Just hours after Gunners boss Arsene Wenger confirmed there had been no inquiries for the Spaniard, Real director Jose Angel Sanchez contacted Arsenal regarding his availability.

Madrid are determined to get one up on their rivals and are set to make a move for the former Barca trainee, a Real source said:

“The president Florentino Perez has identified Fabregas as the one signing above all others to hurt Barcelona.

“He believes signing Fabregas would be a real statement of intent for next season. He will do whatever is needed to put the club back above Barca.”

Madrid chief Perez has sanctioned a £100m war chest for Mourinho this summer with Fabregas and Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero top off their wish list.

Manchester City are believed to be interested in the 24-year old but Arsenal will not allow their prized asset to leave for another English club.

    hmmm,

    Cesc is Real Madris’s radar.
Cesc wanted to move to Barca.
    Arsenal is asking 40m and
Barca has offered 30m. The price could only fall within their range if Cesc himself put forward a transfer request.

If Arsenal tries to sell Cesc to RM then I am quite sure, he immediately refuse it and handed the transfer request to Arsenal which makes the asking price fall within 30m-32m and that allows Barca to buy him easily.

Good RM keep chasing him, you are making a way-out for him.

I’ll advice/like real madrid boss or manager to try as much as possible to sign Cesc Fabregas of Arsenal (i.e. Arsenal captain). This ‘ll be a great and even the best signing as well as transfer window for Real madrid. Congrat to all madrid fans in advance.
