Liverpool & United Set To Miss Out On £13m Youngster

By on June 4, 2011

Jordan Henderson, one of England’s hottest prospects, has been told to stay put as Sunderland stated that they have no intention at all in selling their midfielder to the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool or any other club.

Rumours have been flying around that Henderson will be departing the Stadium Of Light as Merseyside giants Liverpool have claimed that they are ready to launch a big-money bid to lure him away from his home-town club.

The £13 million-rated star has been rapidly improving since emerging as a genuine first-team prospect under manager Steve Bruce following a successful loan spell at Championship side Coventry City before the manager’s arrival at the Stadium of Light in the summer of 2009.

Henderson was handed his first senior England cap against France in November last year after making a significant impacts for the Black Cats in the Barclays Premier League and the FA Cup.

So if Henderson is staying put during the transfer window, who will Liverpool and Manchester United be setting their sighs on as an alternative? Watch this space….

@YNWA – “media overated british players”. Have you actually watched Henderson on a regular basis? He is an outstanding prospect. He had a bad game for England but what do you expect when he’s handed his debut and told to be a defensive midfielder against an experienced marauding French midfield trio while Gerrard was given free rein to do what he wanted. However, I do agree with you that Liverpool need some quality foreign players. Maybe someone like Aquilani…oh hang on.

Iam pretty sure Bruce values him around £20m not £13m, Liverpool apparently want him for £13m “will never happen at that price!” (obviously)…
The reason Liverpool want him b4 euro’s is because if his performances are good his price will be high plus more competition for his signature…
So still not sure were this 13m youngster is cause Henderson is valued at 20m do some research please Fernando chow

It is quite amusing to see yet another “fantastic English world beater blah blah” being hyped as only the English pundits can hype.
I think we all know where our targets lie for the summer and they will be quality that can come straight into the first team locker….
