Liverpool Set To Launch £8m Move For Spurs Target

Liverpool are expected to bid £8million for Blackpool’s Charlie Adam. Adam was subject to intense speculation in January with both Tottenham and Liverpool launching deadline day bids for the Scottish international, but a deal wasn’t sealed before the window slammed shut.

The former Rangers man is valued at around £12million and is set for the exit door after Blackpool’s failure to secure Premiership football next term.

The Guardian reports that Liverpool are set to rekindle their interest in Adam and steal a march on Spurs before they rekindle their interest.

Good start for Lfc,but Lfc badly needs wingers like sanchez and juan mata and defenders like G.cahil of Bolton and leftbacks like F.contrao and Aly sissoco of of porto and Lyon respectively.Because rivals MUTD are going to be strong again. You never walk alone.

The very fact you’re replying like that proves that we’re still your rivals. Admittedly, we’re not challenging you for the title and we’re unlikely to this season either but almost every reference I’ve heard to your 19th title has had references to one of your main ‘rivals’.

So bog off, read your own threads and stop reading ones about LFC if you have no concern over what we do!

I wish we could sign charlie adam as his presence could meet a xabi alonso’s replacement. His crosses even at set pieces are magnificient. He’ll be a great add for us. We’ll neva walk alone

I would be happy to have Connor Wickham. He is more Alan Shearer like than Andy Carroll.
