Chelsea & United Target Could Leave For “Crazy Money”

By on June 9, 2011

Lanky Tottenham forward Peter Crouch believes Modric will be a Spurs player next season. Manchester United and Chelsea are tipped to battle it out for the Croatian this summer despite Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp confirming he will not sell the midfielder.

Crouch was speaking at a Mars Just Play event in south-east London, he said:

“He is linked to top clubs because he’s a top player.

“But he’s a great lad and he believes in Spurs and where we’re going so unless someone comes in with crazy money I’m sure he’ll remain at Tottenham.”

Harry confirmed his desired to keep Modric along with Tottenham’s other star players, he reiterated his stance last week “All of our key players are under contract. The chairman and I have discussed this and we have no intention of selling any of them.

“They are at a top club and we are looking to improve the squad in the summer, not weaken it, in order to push for a Champions League place again next season.”

He’s not leaving. Crouch probably is though, and not for crazy money.

Crouch should keep his mouth shut and concentrate on what club will fork out a fiver for him.

Problem is Harry loves Crouchy he does not have to worry too much about tactics when he has Crouchy, just lump it up to him. Problem is he is shite in the air. Not a bad team player but not a good enough striker, sorry Peter. I will stick my tits out and bet that Crouchy will remain. Should I jiggle them about a bit boys? HHXX
