Sir Alex Makes Personal Call To Lure Alex Sanchez To United

By on June 12, 2011

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has called Udinese target Alexis Sanchez. The Daily Mail reports that Fergie has made a personal call to the Chilean in an effort to persuade the 22-year old to join United and not Barcelona.

The Chilean international is keen to try his luck in La Liga with Barcelona, but the Catalans will not pay the £30million price tag that Udinese have insisted on. Sanchez was also a target for Manchester City but Sanchez reportedly turned down a move to join Roberto Mancini at the Eastlands.

Sanchez has gone from strength to strength with the Italian outfit, last season the former Cobreloa man netted 12 times in just 27 appearances for the club.

If the forward was to move from Serie A Udinese would expect at least £30million for their prized asset.

sighn him but i do seriously think we need to let some wingers go. if we do get sanchez i think we should let nani go because sanchez and nani are similar players but sanchez is more trickery more pacy and doesnt slow the game down when he plays on the left. and inter milan are after nani so we could do swap deal for sniejder
