REPORTS: Dalglish Quoted £11m For English Youngster
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has been told to double his original £5.5million offer for Ipswich starlet Wickham.
The People reports that the Kop boss will need to at least double his offer for the 18-year old, but will face competition from Sunderland who have logged a £12million bid for the youngster.
Sunderland chief Steve Bruce has made a £8million bid for Under 21 star with an additional £4million on player appearances and bonus clauses.
Kenny Dalglish has already added Wickham’s England Under 21 team mate Jordan Henderson to his squad this summer and is hopeful of landing the Ipswich starlet.
