Hiddink Tells Abramovich: Bring Back Wilkins

By on June 18, 2011

Chelsea bound Guus Hiddink wants to bring back Ray Wilkins. Hiddink enjoyed a good relationship with Wilkins when they spent a brief spell working together back in 2009 and despite their brief stint the duo managed to win the FA Cup.

To bring back Wilkins would be a massive U-Turn for Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, who sacked Wilkins at the back end of last year.

But it remains to be seen if Chelsea will secure the services of Hiddink with Turkey digging their heels in over the compensation fee. Turkey are demanding £3.5million for Hiddink and know the Chelsea supremo is desperate to land the former Russian manager.
