Arsenal, Chelsea & Man Utd On Red Alert After £25m Ace Drops Bombshell

Marouane Fellaini has stunned Everton by saying he wants to play for a club winning trophies and playing Champions League football.

Everton face a battle to keep hold of their Belgian international after the 23-year old said he wants to play for a team challenging for the title and playing at the very top level. Fuzzy-haired Fellaini said:

“One thing is certain, I want to play in a team that wins trophies and play in the Champions League.

“But Everton is a team below the top level.”

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with the former Standard Liège midfielder previously and will be on red alert after Fellaini hinted at a possible move this summers reports the News Of The World.

The £25m rated ace was a recording signing for Everton back in 2008, when the club paid out £15m for the tough-tackling midfielder.

There cannot be any truth in any transfer rumour unless it has “Tottenham are also interested” at the end.

It is amazing really, an article can be manipulated in such way to make a story. Funny you only included that little quote, failed to mention that he is not interested in moving this summer, he is willing to wait to see what the board can do (ie transfers) and see what Everton can do (finish in europe) and if we dont then he will leave. He is perfectly happy right now and hence the contract talks.

BOMBSHELL….skillful 23yr old midfielder wants to play at the top of the European club game!.

Who would have thought that eh???.

If he doesnt agree to a new deal this season Moyes will have to sell him on. The stories leaking out of Goodison are that he’s happy to continue his development with Everton for the near future and see what his position is in a season or two.

    Sensible lad by all accounts!.

I think he is happy at Everton, but if he wants to go to a “top” club as stated here, I definitely wouldn’t mind him in Arsenal red and white. Good athletic player who can gomforward as well, would be a good buy. (I would force him to get a haircut though).

Great story. except you’re missing the first bit of the quote in Sur7Sur magazine where he answers the question “are you going to leave Everton this summer?” with “No, this is not the time.” Yawn….

I don’t think he wants to leave… But if his beliefs are not with the team, then for moral standards Moyes should sell him and make the money while he can… Who knows, we may benefit from it and make it into Europe through the EPL’s “Fair Play” system. Once Fellaini is gone, he will also lose about 5 red cards and 12 yellow cards throughout the season
