Arsenal Transfer News: Exciting Midfielder Linked | Starlet On Verge Of Loan Move

By on June 21, 2011

Another day of transfer news, gossip, rumors, speculation surrounding the Gunners comes upon us. There isn’t many transfer news today, but there are some interesting headlines. Without further ado, here’s the Arsenal Transfer News Roundup.

Arsenal Make Contact With Taarabt

Today, QPR star Adel Taarabt, has claimed that the Gunners and Chelsea have made contact with him and that they’re both interested in signing him. Taarabt also sensationally claimed that Arsenal are lining him up as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas, and also states that QPR value him at 10 million pounds. Taarabt is a talented and skillful player, but is he a good replacement for Fabregas, in my opinion, no he’s not. He’s also a player known for his not so good attitude, which has seen him fall out with former managers at Tottenham and with the Moroccan national side. I don’t recommend him as a potential signing for the Gunners.

Miyaichi On the Verge of Resigning for Second Loan Stint At Feyenoord

Reports are claiming that Arsenal’s Japanese rising star, Ryo Miyaichi, is on the verge of resigning for Feyenoord for a second loan spell with the club. Miyaichi, had an impressive loan spell with Feyenoord where he’s become a fan-favorite. Miyaichi has a bright future ahead of him and I believe that a second loan spell would benefit him greatly; he needs all the match experience that he can get.

What do you think? Do you want to see Taarabt as a Gunner? Do you agree that Miyaichi should have another loan stint? Please share your thoughts and opinions.

Cheers and take care,

from the video the lad looked lively and fast but made a lot of mistakes a loan period is needed for him to grow and get experience, sadly he didn’t score much for a striker im beginning to see a worrying pattern emerging, a player who can create a chance to score but will pass it.. as stupid as it mite seem id rather have a lazy run shy player who stands in the box all game and just does 1 thing SCORE.. that’s what is needed at arsenal a lazy player to go with our runners good example used to be baptista when wh had him on load alliadiere did the running and lazy tapped them in..!!

@ prince 05,miyaichi isn’t a striker but a winger and a do you mean he doesn’t score.he had 3 goals and maybe 5-6 assists in 10 games.that’s not bad return for an 18 yr old who had only played high school football prior to the loan.i’d glad if we could get him a work permit this summer.

taarabt can shoot!!! the guy is lethal even from outside the box…we need someone who can bang them in from far to offer something different when the opposition backline is keeping us at bay…i love that first goal, amazing!! if he can do that on the regular in an arsenal shirt then by all means buy the guy!

no need for taarabt AT ALL, what a stupid move that would be! he is unproven at premiership level, he totally flopped when he was at spurs. To get a move to a big club he needs to prove he can handle the premiership, I don’t care what he’s done in the championship, this is a different level now. Besides, if cesc goes i’d prefer to see nasri in the center behind the forward(s) that’s his natural position. If wenger is going to get another midfielder it should be a defensive minded one who can read the game a hell of a lot better than song.
