TRANSFER NEWS: Chelsea & United Quoted Huge Fee For Target

Udinese have announced they will not sell Alexis Sanchez for anything less than 50m euros.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Manchester City have all been heavily linked with the Chilean international, and Udinese patron Gianpaolo Pozzo told AS.

“Is €50m not too much? No, it doesn’t seem enough,”

“I have no doubt that if he stayed with us for another year he would be worth even more than that. He’s the best player of his generation. He’s like Cristiano Ronaldo when he was 22.

“We look after hundreds of players, we’ve been in this business for some time and we know when we have a diamond. Alexis Sanchez is one.

“If a club wants him then they will have to pay his price in full and that is €50m.

“He’s the cherry on the cake which [Barca boss Pep] Guardiola is missing, a player who can make the difference,” Pozzo added. “When you buy someone you shouldn’t just look at his price tag.

“Manchester City have made us a more generous offer than Barcelona. But if Cesc Fabregas is worth €40m, Neymar €45, then I say €50m for Sanchez.”

Reports emerged that a deal was close to being done, something that Pozzo has denied.

“I think that if a deal is done then it will happen at the last minute on the last day. That’s normal in cases like this. I repeat, I’m in no hurry to sell Alexis.”

I’m getting slightly tired of club presidents or owners hiking up players to ridiculous prices because of other stupid presidents doing the same. To say he’s worth €10 mill more than Fabregas is just plain ridiculous. Frabregas is only 2 years Sanchez’s senior and yet has much much more experience not just in league football but CL football too, as well as being club captain for Arsenal. Honestly sometimes I think the big wigs in football are just mental or downright audacious.

In Italy and Spain its believed Barcelona last offer was £22 million + Jeffren. Jeffren said no and so a deal couldn’t be agreed. They are reluctant to go higher because they need to be more sensible with money, and also because they want Fabregas as well.

Man City did offer £30 million straight, but the player said no the the move. Udinese are still trying to use Man City to get Barcelona to increase there offer. Man City have moved onto new targets like Hulk and Mata. Barcelona are also moving onto new targets and want to sign Fabregas, and are looking at getting either Mata or Rossi. Jeffren will be used to get either Rossi or Mata, as he is happy to stay in Spain.

As for Sanchez, there is a third bid on the table, £27 million from Manchester United. They have’t been as aggressive as the other two teams in this transfer. They made there offer over a week ago and have just sat back and waited. However it’s believed that Sanchez would want to join Man Utd, and a deal can be done if they increase there offer from £27 million to £30 million.

If a deal is done, then it will allow Inter Milan and Juventus to move for Nani. They both know Nani’s future is depending on Sanchez. Inter Milan are favourites as it’s being viewed that a deal can be done involving Nani and Sneijder. Inter would want between £8-10 million on top of Nani for Sneijder.

He can say what he wants, Sanchez won’t go to city, not even for talks. So it would be either the players choice of Barca, for £25m or his 2nd choice United for £30m.

mr. abram – ovich? he’s a Russian jew trying to forget his past by inventing being “European”. Read how he got his Billions.Just another thief, conman liar. He’s like MANY “new” football owners, using “their” club to launder dirty money.

@saeed it jolts my heart when I read from people of your kinda little intelligent Quotence, who don’t know a thing about football but still try to say a comment.
I find it hard for you to even believe that trash cook up story of yours about chelsea owner Abramovich. For your information chelsea came into EPL and changed it entirely with the help of mourinho, and turned it into a club that people like you for no reason just wake up and envy! So why don’t you try and make your own life something the world can talk about, instead of abusing and trying to rubbish another mans sweat.
And for your info am a blackburn fan till I die, but truth need be told, stop hatting!!!

idiot, they changed the EPL by buying the premier league trophy, i don’t care what you or anyone says chelsea didn’t win the EPL they bought it, there’s too much money in football, it should go back to the old days where a 10m transfer was massive news, footballs about money now, not passion. football is dying slowly.

@saeed,you talked too much.your mouth wide opened. Club president can say anytin they like. For a lowly rated club, will you just allow your price asset to go for cheap? And on Abrahamovic, you’re just a bliss piece of shit!

He’s not worth anywhere near that. How fabregas is not insulted that barca value him at 27 million when they think Sanchez is worth 40+. Fabregas is worth twice what Sanchez is.

This is madness.. Players are way to expensive. Fab is better then both of them.. Bt his the cheapest.! Club owner saying that barca needs a player that can make a difference.. Haha very funny did someone cut off Messi’s legs. Its clear they don’t want to sell him to any1 else that’s one of the reasons the lift his price!

The trouble for ppl who say, ‘it should go back to old days when it was 10 million’. Sorry bud, but inflations a b?tch and United, Arsenal and Chelsea have all paid over the odds for players over the years. It’s football, the players have been over paid and priced for 25 yrs. 10 million is a massive sum of money, and 50 million is crazy, but the boys at the top of the leagues have created this false economy for football, and it wasn’t done by the likes of chelsea or city, we just came along and took back some of the power away from you guys who had by the monopoly created by the champions league money and attraction. That includes italian and spanish clubs. Sanchez is very good, but come on, you telling em there is no other guy liek him. bo??locks

Chelsea didnt buy the league, they brought in Jose Mourinho. HE made a proper team who went on to do fantastically well for 2 seasons straight and managed to break up the monopoly between United and Arsenal, all Abramovich did was act like an ATM. Then he started getting above himself and his interfering has been bringing Chelsea down from the inside for years now. Just like any good fad, Chelsea are doing the right thing and fading out of people’s memory. I’m sure City will hit the heights and drop off again in another 2-5 years, and this is the nature of flashing the cash, you get greedy mercenary players who only have a few good seasons and then stop trying, and it takes a character like Mourinho to keep them from giving up. Madrid are the same but their history in the Champions League back in the day makes all the foreign kids want to play for them, because they have tradition, and they do get some proper quality in their team.

I agree Fabregas is worth more than a Brazilian prospect playing in a sub-par league, and better than Sanchez because Fabregas has created and scored more, although I do think Sanchez will go on to score loads of goals with whomever he joins. Fabregas would have been worth 40mil back in the days when a great player cost 30m and Van Nistelrooy was only 19m. Nowadays I’d go as far as to say he’s worth 50m, but at inflated crazy prices he’s worth close to 80m. Ribery is older and never worth 70m, more like 30m, Sanchez is worth 20-25m, Neymar should be at most 20m, more like 14-16m, and instead of putting these ludicrous transfer values on players there should be a regulation where a club doesn’t have to sell a player unless they actually want to, and if players complain they can be sued for breach of contract, or fined for not trying hard enough.

Maybe make it so that if they have a 5 year contract they’re forced to wait 2 years before they can become eligible for transfer. And as far as wages are concerned, they should be set by league and overall contribution. Make it so every player is on a bracket of low medium or high wage and the upper limit is 100k. You could have a yearly percentage adjustment to raise wages so there’s incentive to stay with a club, and all extras would only come from goals, assists, tackle and pass averages, and blocks and saves.

Beyond that there should be a player of the year for each club voted for by the club and this individual should get a bonus for their efforts, while a manager’s choice can also be commended.

I know this wont happen but I’m so sick of donkey players demanding higher wages and threatening to leave all the time. Nicklas Bendtner you’re sh*te! I say for all the high wages and tv rights there should be more control placed on the financial side of things and let players just get on with their game rather than concentrating solely on their next transfer and pay boost
