Thiago would be a brilliant alternative to Modric
AVB will let the attacking players do their job
We are quoted 60m for Modric and Moutinho but would signing Alcantara and pairing him with Mceachran be a more viable option costing us about 12m and leaving funds for Sanchez Falcao and Van Der Wiel allowing Drogba Anelka and Kalou to leave

I like how you think, John 87. The prospect of Josh McEachran and Thiago Alcantra playing along side each other is mouth-watering, for years to come. AND IM A LIVERPOOL FAN!
*prolly need a midfield hardman though (to replace Essien or Obi Mikel)

What’s your own with Chelsea Mr. liver pool fan? Pls, we don’t need your advice here. Go and give this your advice to your struggling club to know whether they can stabilize again. Spare us this your mouth watering pairing of a thing pls.

Did Liverpool ever says they need Alcantra? I dont think so. Both Dalglish & Comoli agrees that their priority is a players who have Epl & Championship experiences a top their wish. Alcantra doesnt fall on that category. So, this is bad written article.
And Milo…. u dont need to tell u are Liverpool fan. U are not.

Chelsea fans i wouldnt start buying shirts with his name on yet. There are no quotes from the player and this story has come from the daily star.

Has Thiago actually said he wants to play for Villas-Boas? I’d have to see it to believe it. I believe that if Chelsea sign anybody, it’s going to be Mr Villas-Boas’ Porto players – the likes of Hulk, Moutinho and Falcao. He’ll probably also go for a bunch of other Portugese league players that he coveted before coming to Chelsea.

I agree with what MILO says about McEchran and Alcantara. Chelsea should play 4-3-3 with Bale/Mata-Torres-Sanchez/Hazard up front, McEchran-Essien-Alcantara on the midfield and Cole-Terry-Luiz-Vanderwiel on the back.
MILO, Don’t forget that if chelsea loose Essien they will loose stability of the team.
At this age of football the way football is played can only fit to players like Alcantara and McEchran with a a highly confident, powerfull and skillfull player (like Essien) between them.

Barca are going to make a really bad piece of business if they sell Thiago and buy Cesc. Epic fail imo.

I for one would love to see thiago in a chelsea shirt. This kid has got talent. if possible we should sign him, give him small stints this season and than next season he can replace lampard :). and it would be cheap aswell rather than to buy a big star. lampard essien modric in midfield this season and thiago essien modric next season 🙂

Anyone who wants drogba to leave doesnt know football at all. On his day and when he is given a run of games he is one of, if not the best, striker in the world, and even though he’s 33, if he’s still scoring goals and putting in good performances then he should stay. Having lukaku learning off his drogba aswell is ideal, didier brings other players into the game, and lukaku is very similar.
Kalou is a waste of space and is we get Sanchez and/or hulk then we don’t need kalou or anelka.
