REPORTS: United Make £15m Bid For Arsenal & Chelsea Target

By on June 28, 2011

Barcelona ace Thiago Alcantara has been subject to a £15million bid from Manchester United, according to reports.

The 20-year old was attracting interest from Premiership duo Arsenal and Chelsea, but it is United who have made the first move for the Spanish youngster.

Thiago’s future at the Nou Camp looks uncertain after fresh speculation linking Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas with a return to the Catalans.

The Spanish Under 21 star has already said he will move on if Fabregas does re-join Barca, with a move to the Premiership the most likely destination.

United have made the highest bid for the youngster reports the Mirror and have placed the midfielder at the top of their wish as they seek a replacement for the recently retired Paul Scholes.
