Villas-Boas Already Stamping Down His Authority

By on June 28, 2011

Chelsea boss André Villas-Boas has cancelled The Blues friendly against Vitesse Arnhem of the Dutch Eredivisie that was scheduled for the 9th of July.

The new manager cited that his players need a longer break from training as the reason for the cancellation. Villas-Boas is seizing control of his club, even before they get on the pitch, which is a good sign for Chelsea supporters.

There is a buzz around Stamford Bridge nowadays, with Villas-Boas drawing comparison to his mentor Jose Mourinho who won six trophies at Chelsea from 2004-2007. If Villas-Boas can quell with the pressure that will be put on him by Russian billionaire owner Roman Abramovich , there is no doubt he has a bright future in the Premier League.

Lets hope he puts his foot down and offloads that over priced sulk-a-lot, Torres. Can’t believe we bought such a waste of space. He has no loyalty, class or prowess in front of goal. Liverpool were well shut!!!!!!

Andys seems to be creating a personal gradge with Nando. Torres will remain a top striker in English legue. The problem is how he was partnered and the ball feeders. Boas please, buy a creative midfielder or else these old guys-Lampard,Malouda en Drogba will let yu down.

Tarquine seems to be looking at Torres through blue tinted glasses. He did nothing since his first season season with Liverpool. It also embarrasses me how we sing basically the same Torres song as the liverpool fans had. We also have the same El Nino banner for him only in blue! Also we never sing his name like the Liverpool fans did. Lets get real chealsea fans.
