Liverpool Target Diego Wants a Premier League Move

Hey, remember him? Werder Bremen star and a legendary passer of the ball…. 2 years ago? Well, his career’s gone pretty downhill since, but he is looking for a transfer away from his nightmare spell with Wolfsburg this season. So here’s what he said:

I think Felix Magath and myself share very different ideas from each other,” he said. “Of course I respect him because he is the boss but it has been difficult for us to work together. We have sat down and talked and we both think it’s best if I move on.

Diego Ribas on his future

What do you guys make of that? But the real question remains: whether he can still deliver top class performances, following 2 rather fruitless campaigns with Juventus and then Wolfsburg.

So Who’s Next In The List of Potential Nasri/Fabregas replacement’s?

If you listen to/ read The Daily Mirror, it appears that Arsenal are seeking to sign Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Arturo Vidal in the summer. They quote a potential fee of 15 million pounds for the Chilean man and claim that he will fit well among the Arsenal ranks.

And What of The Rumours About Fabregas?

People say this all the time, but I seriously think that he will leave this summer. Here’s one of the reasons that I think that this move might just happen:

Barcelona will offer £35m plus incentives for Fabregas as they look to reach a successful conclusion to their long-running pursuit of the Spain midfielder.

Daily Mail

The fact that Arsenal are looking for replacement perhaps even emphasizes this fact. They have a ready-made replacement in Jack Wilshere, and Arsene Wenger’s going to have to accept a deal one day, before he leave’s the club on bosman transfer!

Ipswich Accept Sunderland’s Bid for Connor Wickham, but Liverpool are still in the running

According to the Daily Mail once again, it seems that Sunderland have a deal in principle for Ipswich Town striker Connor Wickham, as they have agreed a deal of 13 million pounds. It is yet to be seen whether Wickham will actually sign a contract with the Black Cats, with him more likely to be waiting for a response from the Liverpool camp.

Just don’t break the bank for him, will ya, Liverpool?

Why won’t Wenger accept the money that Barca are offering for Fabregas and let him walk away, it’s clear to anyone who watches him play he no longer wants to be an Arsenal player so let him go now. Get Cahill, Samba and Gervinho in and this new goallie tha’s being linked plus get rid of Almunia, Denilson, Eboue, Abu Diaby & Bendtner try to rebuild the team & at least try to win games.

are you mad!!! no player goes onto the pitch looking to play bad unless he hates the club he is playing at, which i highly doubt Fab does. what perfomances are you even talking about?? Fab has been so loyal and he’s our captain and hes worth more then 27mil, think about who was bought last transfer window for more then that.

Wenger don’t let Nasri bully you sell him he will be trouble for you in the future.
How long will he last at ManU is to see.
Gael I think you should keep him he is loyal.

    Dear Wenger,

Sell all those players who want to go and all those who contributed nothing to the club last season. These include: Bendtner, Eboue, Almunia, Rosicky, Fabregas and Denilson. I think Arshavin still has something to offer next season. As regards to Nasri, convince him to stay and if he agrees, fine, and if he doesn’t, then get rid of him.
I believe only those players deliver who play with their heart.

Best of luck to all the gooners for a fruitful 2011/2012

    RID ARSENE!
We have approx 45million in the kitty. sell Fabregas,Eboue,Denilson & Bendtner were left with enuf to buy DEFOE,GERVINHO,CAHILL,SAMBA,RICARDO ALVAREZ & OXLADE CHAMBERLAIN and still have around 20million to keep and still persuade Nasri to stay by pushin his wage. but insted Wenger wants to LOSE his key midfield and keep gaps in defence because he wants his “young” gunners to do everything! he should relise that they done nothing for SIX years, they even cracked under pressure in the Carling cup final 🙁 .
i love you arsenal fc but to win tropheys we must spend.
Chelsea go a season tropheyless and they rid a manager & same as Liverpool so arsenal should do they same as he dont want to spend..
    Best Of Luck AFC <3

i think the best thing wenger should do is sell fabregas at 35 alongside thiago alcantara…….its a fair deal
sometimes wenger should know the selling of fab is the beginning of a new arsenal.
the Moroccan…taarabt said will enter the emirates when fab goes away…well do the math….but
if fab is going the nasri should stay(period)
bring in scott parker, alvarez, ramsey, wilshere, taarabt, thiago alcantara and take the 35 million and go for hazard…………….isnt the midfield complete?????????/
rather than keeping a player who doesnt want to play for the gunners(fab)
