Fabregas Speaks Out On Barcelona Transfer

By on June 30, 2011

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has been speaking about the latest rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona.

The Spaniard says he is ‘optimistic’ and would ‘have no problem’ if Arsenal decided to sell him this summer, but did stress that he had no news to give regarding a move.

Fabregas claims if he does move this summer it will be because Arsenal no longer want him. I’m not sure Arsenal fans would agree with that, as Cesc has made it clear he want’s a move back ‘home’ while Barcelona’s pursuit of the player has been on the cusp of stalking. So Arsenal may feel they have no choice but to grant Fabregas his wish and sell if a reasonable offer comes in.

When speaking to the press, the midfielder said:

“I’m calm and optimistic. I got nothing to say and there’s nothing I can speak of. If something happens… it’s because it has to happen,” he told press in Spain, as reported by Sport.es.

“If a player is in the market it is because his club doesn’t want him. I have no problems over that,” he concluded.

If it is true about the medical, is a goodnews & wenger shud keep nasri & cese & replace clichy wt beinns & also sign muta, samba, vivino, eto’o or falco. But if manu want swap wit nasri it shuld be bebartoff or nani with cash. mancity shud swap with given or boyata plus cash

Do you honestly think that will happen ?
Fabregas should go, he wants to. It’s no good having a captin wanting to play for another team. But arsenal should keep nasri.

Im sick of fab, he has been rubbish this season, he is not a great captin anyway, this last season ive seen players like ramsey, nasari, wilshire and even an out of form Arshavin and Thomas R… play better and give the team more, i believe Chamach has done more this season and he was un fairly sidelined half way through when he could of paired V.P. Get rid of FAB, Arsenal have better on the bench, Nasari is to good for United, he wont develop their id rather he go Real Madrid or some where they can improve him..!!
