By on July 1, 2011

Liverpool are interested in Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu, according to report.

Media outlets suggest that Chivu is attracting interest from several clubs, including Liverpool, Valencia and Napoli. The solid Romanin only has a year left on his current deal and is reported to want to stay on at the San Siro but it remains to be seen if new Inter boss Gian Piero Gasperini sees the 30-year old featuring in his long term plans for the club.

Inter paid £15million back in 2007 from Serie A rivals Roma and was originally brought in as a centre half but has since shifted to left back after Lucio and Walter Smauel being preffered as the centre back pairing.

Liverpool have turned their attention elsewhere after missing out on Arsenl full back Gael Clichy who is Manchester City bound according to reports on Sky Sports. This will seen as be a bitter blow to Kop boss Kenny Daligsh who thought he had won the race to sign the 25-year old.

    Nonsense.

FSG have clearly stated they won’t be buying players of a certain age that will command high salaries with zero sell on value.

Why do liverpool always get spuriously selected in an Agent’s attempt to leverage an improved contract at the existing club.

Why do crappy website report on it?

Why do i read it? Well, i can stop that by blocking football-talk-bollox
