City starlet Attracting Interest From Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea

By on July 8, 2011

Micah Richards is attracting interest from a number of clubs who are closely monitoring the ongoing contract discussions between the player and Manchester City.

City have opened talks with the full back who has just 2 years left to run on his current deal. The former Oldham trainee is thought to be one of the lowest earners at Eastlands and wants an improved offer on his current £50,000 wages.

Richards played an important role last season and was instrumental to the club securing a Champions League finish. Sky Sports reports that both parties are currently in discussions over a possible contract extension but a deal appears to be a long way off alerting a number of potential suitors.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea would need little encouragement to make a move for the 23-year old and would be quick to pounce if City failed to agree a deal with the English star.
