Chelsea Boosted As Italian Giants Rule Themselves Out Of Pastore Race

By on July 14, 2011

Chelsea and Manchester City target Javier Pastore is not wanted by Italian giants AC Milan.

The highly rated playermaker has been linked with a £45million switch to West London and the Eastlands respectively, but Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini confirmed last week that an Italian club was interested in signing the 21-year old.

However, AC Milan club administrator Galliani was quick to confirm Milan is not the Italian club interested in Pastore. He said:

“Pastore? The Italian club which Zamparini refers to is not AC Milan.”

The Milan chief was also speaking about a possible return for San Siro legend Kaka, but Galliani was quick to dismiss a return for the former Milan star.

“It is a very complex situation. He has remained in our hearts but it objectively remains a difficult deal.”
