Liverpool Youngster Seals Move

By on July 20, 2011

Promising Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi has officially moved to Hull City for a full season on loan. The goalkeeper is looking for some first team action and believes that Hull City is where he can get it.

The Hungarian moved to Anfield back in 2008, and hasn’t yet played a competitive first team game for the club. He has already enjoyed two other loan deals in the past, having spent time with Hereford and Tranmere Rovers.

In my opinion, it looks unlikely that he will feature for the first team prominently anytime soon. He doesn’t seem to have enough potential there to be the Liverpool number 1, and at the rate that Pepe Reina is going, no goalkeeper in the world can take his spot in between the sticks at Anfield.
