Terry: Modric Has Been “Disrespectful Towards Spurs”

By on July 20, 2011

Chelsea skipper John Terry has questioned want-away midfielder Luka Modric, but admits he would like to see the Croatian at Stamford Bridge next season.

Terry spoke highly on Modric and his ability as a footballer but believes his approach of handing in a transfer request to engineer a move to Stamford Bridge was “disrespectful” towards Tottenham. However, Terry admits he would still like to see the 25-year old join Chelsea:

“He’s a world class player who is very difficult to play against,” Terry told Sky Sports News.

“He’s very agile, very quick and a great finisher like we’ve seen over many years.

“I know there are problems. It’s probably a little bit disrespectful towards Spurs. He has his own problems at the moment.

“We’ve got a good squad of players. If he comes he could certainly add to that.”

Get the story straight before reporting! Terry was saying it was disrespectful of him discussing a transfer of a Spurs player.

    Get a real job.

This was reported this time yesterday, and within 4 hours a retraction of the original article was issued along with an apology for getting the quotes wrong.

be sure before posting this type of article, Terry mearnt that it was disrespectful for him to discuss about totenham transfer, he didnt refer to modric, so you should correct yourself, i hope modric should not be aware of this type of fake news. So that he wont be discouraged.

Any chance or opportunity to try and stir the proverbial pot of Sh!t that this post has originated from, get over it, modric is staying at Spurs, same might not be said of Cesc however, but that is a different story all together, Cesc would be going ‘home’ as it’s where he started his career, there is no link with Modric to Chelski, other than the ones ABV has tried to establish with trying every trick in the book to engineer something, & tricks not in the book, by which they should be punished adequately for.

Face it Chelscum!!! That’s what Terry said (verbatim).
The only part of his statement that’s missing is where he states that Mosric has a “lovely wife”. And we all know what that means. Poor Modric.

Why is this disgusting set of lies still shown here? Take this off the site, you liars. Sports reporting is supposed to be about accuracy, you liars, not falsehoods, you liars. What is more disgraceful than knowing a story is lies, yet still leaving it on the site? Liars.
