Man City Set To Hijack Utd’s Move For £35m Ace

By on July 21, 2011

Italian giants Inter Milan are sensationally proposing a swap deal for their talisman midfielder Wesley Sneijder for Manchester City’s want-away striker Carlos Tevez.

The report comes after Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson officially ruled out a move for the Dutchman paving the way for City.

United had identified the playermaker as a replacement for the recently retired Paul Scholes but it is now City who appear favourites to land the former Real Madrid maestro.

The Manchester Evening news suggests City would be interested in the proposal after Tevez claimed he was desperate to leave the Eastlands.

Sneijder himself would be interested in a move to Manchester, but it’s still unclear if the Dutch ace would move to City with the player preferring a switch to Old Trafford.
