TRANSFER NEWS: Chelsea Beat Arsenal To Snap Up Starlet

Chelsea have struck a deal to sign promising Barcelona starlet Oriol Romeu with the 20-year-old moving to Stamford Bridge for around £4m.

Arsenal have previously been linked with Romeu but Sky Sports claim that a deal is now in place with Chelsea with just the finer details to be finalised before the signing is confirmed.

The Spanish sources also believe a clause will be inserted allowing Barcelona the chance to re-sign the player in 2013 if they so choose.

New Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas tried to capture Romeu while at Porto but it now seems he has got his man with the player travelling to London in the coming days to complete the transfer.

Just get him with out any buy back clause. If they still want a clause then device a clause according to which they would have to fork out whatever chelsea will be demanding say 30 million as minimum and also try to get some other players from there . I still do not know whether chelsea have really signed gael etock or not?……….

watching chelsea pre-season matches, i cant say anything than ‘they were disappointing’ it is just a pity that if the almigthy blues carry on like this we may end up winning am imploring villa bois to 1 or 2 midfielders who are strong like mikel or essien because lampard is gone unless he ressurate again.blues till i die!
