Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heyncke is adamant his star midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger will not be leaving Germany this summer.
The playmaker has spent his career with the German outfit but recent speculation has linked the 26-year old with a move to Spain and England.
Manchester United are the most high profile club to be linked with a move for Schweinsteiger, but his manager insists the player will not be sold. Heynckes said:
“Bastian Schweinsteiger is held in high regard at this club.
“A year ago he was playing on the same level as players such as Xavi and Andres Iniesta.
“He is not for sale.”
