It’s encouraging to hear us being linked with quality centre-halfs, but business needs to be done fairly quickly. Trying to save a couple of mil with late bids is a luxury Arsenal can’t afford right now. Samba would be my choice but Jagielka looks favorite and to be honest I’d take almost anybody at present. I think Bolton’s price for Cahill is unrealistic. They pretty much said they wanted to sell, but at £17-20M they have no chance and could end up not even getting £10m in a years time. word on the street is that Jagielka and Cahill will be ours next week. Verm will be first choice CB plus Lb cover for Gibbs. DJ will be fourth choice Cb. Bartley will go on loan. Jenk will cover for Bacary. Squid will cook for the team. Lets hope his scrambled egg has a better consistency than his defending!
Surely we would strike fear into the top teams if this is true!! Come on Gazidis and co, Make it happen

It amazing that this cliub has been dragged to the state by an out of touch manager and board.
Two week until we kick off and just two players in for a total of 12 million
Out Clichy,Eboue ,Bentner 20 million plus probely Cesc and Narsi for a further 60 million but who can blame them for wanting to leave a club that seems to have no ambition or ideas
Sunderland wanted 5 players they signed them the same as man u and others WENGER AND THE BOARD MUST GO NOW TO SAVE THIS CLUB

so we are getting 60 million for Nasri and Fabregas , we had about 40 million to spend anyway.Wenger needs to buy MULTIPLE world class players. He needs to buy Jagielka quickly, buy a new left back, preferably an experienced one.Replace Fabregas and Nasri if he goes , by sealing the deal for Mata and possibly Eden Hazard. After that we need A decent spare goalkeeper and possibly another defender just in case things dont work out.Arsenal ticket prices are the most in the league and the fans should really be awarded with some big signings and in turn , some trophies.

Just like our defence our opposition know our weaknesses in the transfer window and we’re suffering. We’ve spent hardly a penny for the last 5 years, so having to spend £10-£30 million on a player shouldn’t be a big ask. Samba £12 million, Cahill £18 million, Mata £25 million, Jagielka £15 million (total £70 million). Sell Fabregas £35 million, Nasri £22 million, Bendtner £9 million, Clichy £7 million, Eboue £4 million (total £77 million). We’re still £7 million up or have £7 million to toy with. I appreciate it’s never that simple, but it’s a good bleeding starting point!!

Can you imagine this quote “We try to strengthen the squad, we worked very hard on it, but I have no name today.” How can a failure have a good name please, only the successful people have their names writing in gold. Pep Guardiola won 6 trophies in a season and wao, wenger descends in status everyday and bemoan everyday. Shameless coach, he can never have a name as long as he remains stingy. Up gooners!

We’re getting two defenders. Vermaelen will be cover for Gibbs and Koscielny will be cover for Song. So there’s not going to be a problem with 2 centre-halves getting playing time, especially with Gibbs being injured so much and Song not being much better – and considering he’ll be in the African Nations Cup in the New Year. Do you see now why TWO central defenders is being bought? The sale of Nasri to City and Fabregas to Barca is making it possible to buy two out of Cahill, Samba and Jagielka, plus Mata who’ll be a Nasri replacement and a better player. Fabregas doesn’t need replacing because both Wilshere and Ramsey can play that role just as well. This will all be done in the next two weeks.
