Pepe is right. We are usually known for having one of the strongest defences in the league. To leak so many goals is simply unacceptable-even if they are onlt friendly matches.

we need a complete new back four if were playing with four but i think with the players we have we should jus play 3 with lucas and adam just in front of them, but think we should use flanagan and kelly we need to start trusting our youth squad to flourish in the first team, and all the ones that did well last season shelvey, spearing so on seem to of all been replaced so whats the point of the accademy just to use the players wen needs must and ship them of even if they do well, they say were buying for the future we why not play the next couple of seasons for the future and give the younger ones their chance, if we carry on like we are we might even win the league but at the cost of becoming another joke club like man city and chelsea, i hate the mancs(utd) but all there last ten years of sucess has been down to the ones coming through at an early age from their accademy, giggs, scholes, beckham, nevile so on the whole spine of there team.

Chris,
If we want to drop our expectations and become a midtable club, then by all means we can play all our young players. To win trophies however we need a balance of youth & experience, grit & skill, homegrown & foreign, kind of like ying and yang.
When there is a player whose quality obviously stands out at the age of 17-19 like Fowler, Owen or Gerrard then you will see them gradually get games and become key contributors in the 1st team. Hopefully we will have a few like Raheem Sterling, Suso and Morgan come through and become World Class. They will have to be loaned out first though to get regular games.
Kelly, Wilson, Coady, Flanaghan, Robinson: it is not a dead certainty that they will become our next Jamie Carragher or Rob Jones but I have faith in what Rafa had set up for the Club under the excellent work of Segura and Borrell. http://www.aliverpoolthing.com/2011/07/pep-segura-explains-strategy-behind.html
Even when United were bringing the young players through they were still eased in and surrounded by experience and class so I think we are slowly but surely moving in the right direction.
