Affellay Not Prem Bound

It seems that Barcelona winger Ibrahim Afellay will be staying at Camp Nou after the player’s agent, Robert Jansen, has made it clear that the Dutch international will not be making a move to the premier league this summer. The midfielder has been linked with both Liverpool and Tottenham in recent weeks but Jansen said:

“Afellay will remain in Spain because he is happy at Barcelona.”

Ayala Leaving Liverpool

As we take a step further into today’s transfer news, Liverpool’s Spanish centre back Daniel Ayala is likely to join Hull City after spending three months on loan at the KC Stadium last season, having impressed in 12 appearances before returning to Anfield at Christmas. Hull City boss Nigel Pearson will be hoping to secure the Spaniard’s signature after bringing in six new players to the club during the transfer window. Pearson said;

Ayala is a target and we have put a bid in. The clubs are in discussion and we will see how that develops.

Diego MUST leave Woflsburg

Woflsburg manager Felix Magath has claimed that the club’s Brazilian midfielder, Diego Ribas, ‘has got to leave’ the club  –  with Atletico Madrid monitoring the situation very closely.

The club and I agree on the fact he’s got to leave, since he’s not going to play if he won’t be released.

And lastly, Barcelona’s latest bid for Fabregas has been officially… REJECTED

Pep Guardiola’s inability to up his bid to Arsenal’s £40 million asking price for Fabregas has once again resulted in the Catalan’s failure to lure the Arsenal skipper to Camp Nou. Barcelona’s latest bid for Fabregas has reportedly worth only as high as £29 million (plus £6m in add-ons) – which was rejected by Arsene Wenger without hesitation.

    They don’t want or need Cesc, it’s all about disrupting AFC because we are a threat to them.
    This saga causes players to think twice about coming here, unsettles the AFC players, making some of them start to look at their situation and deciding to leave, makes AFC a laugthing stock by having a captain who has his heart set on another team.
    I say to Cesc, if you love AFC as you claim you do, END this now, commit fully to AFC, forget Barca and DO YOUR JOB.
    As for AW, start to man up, don’t talk just be tough and STOP pampering to Cesc.
    This is the worst AFC publicity they have ever had, the whole football club and it’s reputation is being eroded day by day, and soon they will be the laughting stock of the whole world.
    O woe is Arsenal.
