Good news, he seems the real deal and his recent comments about understanding he may have only a bit part, understudy squad place for a year or so have been a delight to hear and reflect an intellect and realism that’s so valuable in football today. All better being a Chelsea fan. Now lets get a bit of right width attack and additional central creativity please. Tea please, oh and cake and I’ll eat it.

oh and Mr Nazir; have respect, Lampard’s a legend and still has much to offer, it was no coincidence his absence through injury came during our poor form spell last season. Sometimes, a footballers quality can be noticed more when they’re not there; missed. eg – Ballack, we missed him last season despite many writing in forums he’d be no loss. Watch the play off the ball at times to see the whole game, go to a game or two.

Mark my words, this is one that will come back to haunt Arsenal. I hope I’m wrong, but this guy looks to be Drogba’s replacement. He’s big, powerful and runs through defences not around them!

We (Arsenal) were never going to sign him. Wenger’s completely lost his bottle in the transfer market.
WENGER OUT!

Did AVB watch the Charity Shield? United was simply faster. City’s players picked up yellow cards because of late tackles. Fast & agile is better than big & strong. Most of Chelsea’ players are big, and a few in their thirties are off the pace. Chelsea must get younger, faster, and more agile, or United will win again.
