Adam Gunning For Arsenal

Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam is relishing their game against Liverpool next weekend after the side got off to a less than impressive start with a 1-1 draw at home against Sunderland.

The former Seasider admits Arsenal will provide a tough test for his new side, but claims the team are looking forward to the game. Both clubs will be looking for their first win of the season after the Gunners drew 0-0 in an ill-tempered affair with Newcastle. Adam told liverpoolfc.tv:

“Arsenal is a big game but every game is a big one at this club. It doesn’t matter who you are playing, it’s going to be a tough match. We are looking forward to it. We’ll have a good week of training again and we’ll prepare in the right way for Arsenal.”
