[VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS] Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool: Controversial Ramsey O.G & Suarez Effort Sink Sorry Gunners

By on August 20, 2011

Arsenal suffered a day to forget at the Emirates going down 0-2 to Liverpool.  The Gunners got an early blow when Laurent Koscielny was forced off after just 15 minutes with back problems, and it got even worse when debutant Emmanuel Frimpong was sent off for 2 bookable offences midway through the second half with the score still at 0-0. The combative midfielder will now be suspended for the game at Old Trafford next weekend.

Liverpool made Arsenal pay and went ahead with a fortuitous goal. Suarez was played in seemingly in an offside position but the ref waved play on and as he put Miquel under pressure his clearance bounced off the chest of Aaron Ramsey and over the head of the Arsenal goalkeeper to put the visitors ahead. Sub Suarez added a second in injury time with a tap in. Watch highlights from the game below…

D defence was spot on irrespective of d own gol. Arsenal nid an inventive midfield schemer in d mould of cesc…. It was apparent bcos d team lack guile, improvisation nd decisiveness 2 support d cutting edge…. Frimpong was scintillating debar d expulsion….

Lets face it, Liverpool won the game from the bench, may be that is what Arsenal needs- a solid bench

We don’t need to waste our time AW wenger is wasting his time about those young player most especially Ramsey that wanrted to exhibit skills that is not there, and again Arshavin that is very lazy.Anyway i can say Liverpool deserve to win the match but not really better than Arsenal in that game. All players injure including CB defender, good midfield and experience one for that matter not Ramsey is not there atall.Nothing in our attack apart from RVP,Nasri, but player like Ramsey are just wasting possession at midfield, including Frimpong that cannot trap ball.In all sincerity am not annoyed about this match’cos i know they are going to lose that game.

I think that wenger has overstayed and now lacks new ideas. How on earth will u sell ur best players and not buy? Ramsey needs to go back to the feeder team and for Asharvin, its only in a club like RSENAL that u find such kind of player. Shame wenger!!!
