Mixed News As Wenger Announces Squad For Udinese Game

Mixed news for Gunners as Wilshere ruled out but Djourou and Traore return for Udinese game.

As Arsenal prepared to fly off to Italy ahead of their decisive Champions League Play-Off second leg against Udinese, manager Arsene Wenger gave an injury update and named his 18-man squad.

Thomas Rosicky is fit and in the squad, although he may not start, while Djourou and Traore both return after injuries. Alex Song and Gervinho both return from domestic bans, while Frimpong is also available. However, Jack Wilshere has had a set back and misses out as does Koscielny:

Rosicky is in the squad, he’s available, he had a test this [Tuesday] morning. We don’t know whether he will be fit to start but he is in the squad. Djourou and Traore are back as well. Alex Song and Gervinho are back from suspension. Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Frimpong are available too.

Unfortunately Wilshere is not ready so that is bad news for us and adds to the players we miss with transfers and some through injuries. Of course at the moment the squad is short. Koscielny is out but he has a chance to be fit to face Manchester United.

Arsenal squad to face Udinese:

  • Wojciech Szczesny
  • Lukasz Fabianski
  • Carl Jenkinson
  • Bacary Sagna
  • Thomas Vermaelen
  • Johan Djourou
  • Armand Traore
  • Ignasi Miquel
  • Andrey Arshavin
  • Emmanuel Frimpong
  • Gervinho
  • Aaron Ramsey
  • Alex Song
  • Theo Walcott
  • Tomas Rosicky
  • Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
  • Marouane Chamakh
  • Robin van Persie

I still believe arsenal could win tonight. Problem is that they are not consistent. If they play their full potential they can win the match.hope chamakh regain his form and they are not panic and have high self confident. go gunners.

This days to support arsenal is not easy, wenger should know that even the small teams have bought good players.
