Arsenal Transfer News: Moyes Gives Gunners Hope Over Jagielka

By on August 24, 2011

Arsenal given hope after Everton boss David Moyes admits the club would be forced to sell their stars if a club comes in with a big enough offer.

Several of the Everton squad have been linked with big money moves this summer, most notably Phil Jagielka who has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal.

Everton are in severe financial difficulties and chairman Bill Kenwright has stressed the need for new investment, and it seems manager David Moyes is realistic about their chances of hanging on to their stars if a club like Arsenal comes calling with a big offer:

“It’s already been said that money generated, depending on the value, would go to the bank,” he rapped.

But he added: “Look everybody’s got a price, Fabregas, Ronaldo, you name it they’ve all got prices so if anybody bids big enough I’m sure we would take it. I’m not daft. I wouldn’t do something just because I’m stubborn. I’d do what is right for the club.”

Am advising wenger to buy a big player, rather than to keep on loosing and failure to buy will equivalent to loosing!?!

I would hardly say it gives them hope…

I’ve been saying this for weeks now.

Moyes will sell Jagielka if Arsenal are willing to pay stupid money for him. Jags has said he will not ask for a move, Moyes has said he doesn’t want to sell him, Everton have sorted out funding to pay the debts that needed paying (companies house has the info).

Everton don’t want or need to sell. The only way Arsenal will get Jags this transfer window is if Arsenal make an offer that’s so inflated above Jagielka’s value that Everton would have to be crazy to turn it down. I reckon something in the area of 25-30 million would probably do it. I’m not saying he’s worth it, just that’s what it’d take, in my opinion

Haha, not every club can just go out and buy whoever they want because a russian or asian billionaire has financed it! It’s not even just the transfer fee, the wages are a massive stumbling block what with Citeh and Chelski paying ridiculous sums. Its also about finding the right players and building a youth setup, but you wouldn’t know about that at Chelski (no history)..

Also, stop being a lazy c$*t and use some correct English you muppet!

David Moyes has also said that he’s received no (new) offer from Arsenal.

The Bolton chairman (just two days ago) has said that no one has made an offer for Cahill. That’s no one at all. Not Liverpool, not Arsenal, not anyone.

And I believe both these sources to be truthful.

Isn’t it about time that bloggers, posters and everyone interested in Arsenal bringing in a new centreback took on board the idea that few, if any, of the names floating out there are just inventions vying for gullible readers.

Stop being so gullible. If only because it’ll be less stressful.

The only problem we have is that arsene is a football director but not a coach and the board musr look for a pep gudiorla calibre and put wenger into his initiation of boys to men.we then buy a world class midfielder of snieders genius and one defender.
