Nasri: Slams Arsenal Fans | Glad To Leave | Vieira Convinced Him To Move

By on August 25, 2011

Samir Nasri has told of his delight at finally joining Manchester City from Arsenal after long, drawn out, tiring negotiations, speaking about the frustration of still being an Arsenal player at pre-season. He told City’s official website:

“It is a big relief. It was a long negotiation and discussion between the two clubs and now I am finally a City player. That is what I wanted from the start. I’m really happy.”

“I was a little bit frustrated because I said to the manager (Wenger) I wanted to leave. I stayed for the whole pre-season, but I wanted to do the pre-season with Manchester, so then I can know my team-mates a little more.”

“I was a bit frustrated. It is a big day for me. It is a new start and I’m looking forward to doing it.”

Nasri had some trouble with abusive Arsenal fans during the clubs first game in which he did not play, but the Frenchman feels he will not have any worries with the City fans, whom he described as “really passionate,” – and more so than Arsenal’s fans, which may cause upset with many Gunners. City’s £24 million signing continued:

“The fans here are passionate. They remind me a little of Marseille. Arsenal have good fans but they are not as passionate since they moved from Highbury to the Emirates. I remember when we played against Manchester City [last season] and lost 3-0 and the crowd were amazing. That is what I want.

“When you play football you want a good atmosphere and the stadium is unbelievable. When I saw the fans, they had tattoos and were passionate and that’s what I want.”

To add insult to injury, Arsenal’s former captain, Patrick Viera, who is held in high regard among many Arsenal fans, played his part in bringing Nasri to City. Viera, who is now a Football Development Executive at City, the club where he retired, told Nasri that City is “the place to be.” He said:

“It was important to have advice from people who know the club well and know the difference between Arsenal and Manchester City.”

“Patrick is a legend in France. When a player like this tells you Manchester City is the place to be, that it is the club of the future and wants to win everything, you have to listen to this. I am here to play football and to win titles, not for the sun or things like that.”

You are welcome to Citeh because you are a money grabbing big mouth. Hopefully you will spend most of your season on the bench or treatment table. I reckon we got a bargain, £24m for 3 months of football.

Just go and i hope you achieve something from City. You left because of MONEY and not because of Trophy!Patrick ask you to join City because he can bag a lot of commission from your deal. Only fabregas can become a truly football player!

I agree with Nasri when he says The Emirates lacks atmosphere at time, but then as my wife says the team help generate the atmosphere so have they been letting us down?
I went to Southend last week and the atmospere there was great. Does that mean old money hungry retard Nasri would have gone there if Southend had put an offer in for him? Obviously money was not the main issue behind his move he just loves noise. I guess he was just lucky Mna City put an offer in for him then or he would of been off to the seasiders at the drop of a hat.
I’d have more respect for him if he told the truth, but then to drag Vieira in to his tissue of lies just shows you that he is grade A scum and not someone who is fit to wear the red and white of Arsenal. He will be at home with all the other money grabbing scum at City, who are after all lower life Manc crap!

Yes the two stars have finaly gone. But Iam comfortable as an Arsenal fun because no player is bigger than the team ARSENAL the Gunners.

All the best to Wenger for the rest of the season. I like your style of developing new talent.Arsenal for life with or without trophies.

Nasri refused to shake William Gallas when we played against tottenham, now he has seen arsenal fans as unpassionate people,he will end up lik Adebayor who left without d master’s blessing….lovers of money

Don’t know why anyone would pay attention to anything he has to say.
I think it was a great deal for us selling him. He’s a 1/2 a season wonder. He is a great dribbler but how many assist has he got? He’s selfish and only plays well when he wants to. He is often gone missing in games and to me, he doesn’t put in enough effort in winning the ball back and working for the team. I would much rather watch Ramsey or any other kids play. At least I know even though we might not get star performance every game but we will get effort and heart for every single minutes they play in.

Nasri is “Adebayoring” himself to the Arsenal fans and even Paddy’s place in Arsenal history is threatened as he will quickly become known as Vierra that French git that tapped up Samir Nasri!

For a guy who has stated he preferred United I’m guessing it may take a while for the Citeh fans to warm up to the piece of human excrement!
